Did this several months ago. It was my first attempt at using Caran d'Ache Neocolors. Much as I love watercolors, every effort to use them ends up in an epic fail for me. So, I thought that perhaps I might have a little more luck trying the watercolor crayons (is it okay to call them that??) and using them dry instead of wet. Also -- I admit it -- I'm an art supply junkie and the concept of artist's crayons just sounded too good to pass up. Had to try them. I was also using acrylic paint and watercolor pencils so I managed to accidentally wet this piece in spots that I'd intended to keep dry and I ended up with lots of ugly splotches. Oh well. Somehow, I still had fun with this little piece and I'm posting it as a reminder to myself that it's good to experiment regardless of the results.
